I'm Kelly.

My career path has been anything but linear. I earned a master’s degree in higher education administration, worked in student-athlete development, and even built a successful career in real estate. You could say I have lived a few different lives. But it is my current role as founder and lead designer of The Design Bar Interiors that feels most aligned with who I am.
Today, I have the incredible opportunity to help people create homes that feel like an extension of who they are. Every space I design is deeply personal, crafted to reflect my clients’ unique stories, lifestyles, and goals. Over the past 10 years, I have been honored to design homes along the Jersey Shore and across the country, each one rooted in comfort, beauty, and soul.
After a series of transformative worldly and cross country travels through boutique hotels, serene retreats, and unforgettable restaurants, I felt a new calling to expand. We now bring the same high-touch, personalized approach to hospitality design, creating environments that invite connection and leave a lasting impression. Whether it is your forever home or your first restaurant, we design spaces with feeling, purpose, and intention—always with you in mind.

Kelly helped us design, decorate and stage our newly built, 5 bedroom, 3 level vacation home with multiple outdoor spaces including a pool, in Ocean City, NJ with results that far exceeded our expectations.
